International Ballet Theater Celebrates
125th ANNIVERSARY of THE NUTCRACKER
The Nutcracker is famous for having enthralled audiences of all ages all over the world. This Holiday Season the enchanting Christmas ballet celebrated its 125th anniversary. It was first staged in St. Petersburg, Russia, premiering at the Mariinsky Theater in 1892. For the upcoming 2017 Production Neumann University's Josephine Singer is teaming up once again with the International Ballet Theater of Malvern, PA, bringing its lavish original production to Delaware County.

This 26th Production of IBT’s Nutcracker will be guest-starring artists from Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Armenia, and the U.S., and showcasing IBT Academy's professionally trained, award-winning students.
Superb choreography elegantly executed by International Ballet Theater dancers is overseen by IBT Ballet Mistress Nataliya Bondar-Shelest and Director Jaelyn Fellona, also in charge of production's captivating theatrical effects.
IBT's magical production features sets, scenery, and colorful costuming, some of which were originally produced for Moscow's Bolshoi Theater.
